Ahem, perhaps you can also comment on all the historical subsidies that have and continue to be afforded CONG (coal oil nuclear natural gas), too? C'mon Lindsay, play fair. ;^)

ReplyDeleteMy guess of the subsidy on natural gas, oil and coal is about 25 cents per mmbtu. A combined cycle power station state of the art uses 5.7 mmbtu to generate a mwh. The subsidy is therefore about $1.42 per mwh The wind subsidy is $22 per mwh or 15 times bigger. What do think of Al Jazeera Gore?
