Worries About Green New Deal

I worry that The Green New Deal will be a rehash of The Gangrene Old Deal

Let's look at Bloom Energy in Delaware.  Bloom set up a LLC called Diamond State Generation Partners to operate 30 megawatts of Bloom Boxes in Delaware.  Bloom charges Diamond State Generation Partners approximately $15 million a year to maintain and operate the boxes not including the natural gas.  The boxes generate approximately 220,000 mwh per year.  This means the O&M costs are approximately 7 cents per kilowatt hour.  The gas costs are another 3 cents per kwh.  The cash costs of operation are therefore around 10 cents per kwh.  This is without paying for depreciation, interest, or capital recovery by the equity partners.  

Bloom lied that could generate power for around 9 to 10 cents a kilowatt hour including all capital costs such as depreciation, interest, and profits to the owner of the Bloom Boxes.  Bloom simply lied to get Credit Suisse to be their 99% tax equity partner in the Delaware deal.  They lied to other customers about their cost of power generation.  They lied to investors who bought their stock.  They lied to to the so-called Green Press like Greentechmedia.

Deep State Doerr who owns Schumer The Bloomer, The Democrats and Obama is the poster child of the Old Gangrene Deal.  He and his friend Vinod Khosla took a bunch of money from the DOE for the DOA gangrene schemes like, Cello, Range, Kior, Amyris, Gevo, Bloom, Fisker and others.  Sadly AOC never studied Thermodynamics and her GREEN NEW DEAL is a rehash of Obama's GANGRENE OLD DEAL.
